Mark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2003. He has been admitted to the Indiana State, Northern Indiana and Southern Indiana Federal Districts since that time. Mark began his career serving both Marion and Cass Counties as a Felony Deputy Prosecutor from 2003 to 2007, completing thirty felony jury trials. 

Mark has focused on civil litigation for Starr Austen & Miller and has tried many cases for plaintiffs and defendants. He has presented at legal seminars for other attorneys and insurance company in-house staff on construction law insurance coverage, personal injury and contractual dispute issues. Mark’s litigation skills have been recognized on the state level.
