Jacob (“Jake”) O’Brien graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and, later, from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, summa cum laude. Jake was sworn in as an Indiana attorney and admitted to practices in both North and South District Courts in Indiana before returning to Logansport, his childhood hometown, to begin his law career at Starr Austen & Miller, LLP.

As an associate, Jake represented plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal court in a vast array of civil litigation contexts, from personal injury, to complex commercial and contractual disputes and class actions. Now a partner at the firm, Jake litigates a wide variety of complex civil lawsuits on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
