Accident in Carmel at 111th Street and Pennsylvania Kills Meyer P. Nahmias

Meyer P. Nahmias was driving his Cadillac northbound on Pennsylvania Street when a car being driven by John Charles Nickel, traveling west on 111th Street, did not stop at the stop sign and collided with the Cadillac.  Nahmias, an 85-year old man, was pronounced dead at IU North Hospital from the injuries he sustained from the crash.  Nickel, a 90-year old, was treated at St. Vincent Hospital located on 86th Street.

The intersection of Pennsylvania and 111th is a 2-way stop and is just north of a roundabout on 106th Street.  Read the full article at IndyStar.com.
